STAND No. 48. .

A MOST representative display of vehicles is to be found on the Fiat stand. Perhaps the most intereslIng is the hotel omnibus, topearry ten people inside and two beside the driver. The whole vehicle is very well finished, and provides almost luxuriou,s accommodation. The seats are arranged along the sides of, the vehicle so that the passengers fans each other. -/The windows are held by thumb clips in order that they can be entirely removed during hot weather. A roof rail is provided, and access to the roof is obtained by means of a ladder.

At the other side of the stand is a 14-seater all-weather coach, the top and side windows of which coin be removed, making the vehiclekan open coach.

The Fiat taxicab is a very smart vehicle, which fulfils the requirements of Scotland Yard. It is ,more like a private car than a taxicab.

The remaining passenger vehicle is a

standard '14-seater coach with bulbous-. sided body, and finished in maroon. This vehicle is provided with a single-span

hood. .

As regards goods vehicles, the largest is ton standard lorry with canvas tilt cover. Incidentally, this .vehicle has chain final drive.

Next comes a 1 tan van, built to the order of the makers of Blue Band margarine. On a similar chassis is shown a high-aided lorry body with tilt cover.

The last goods vehicle is a neat van to carry 10 cwt.

new departure is the light fire tender,. which is practically a fire-engine in miniature, as it has its own pump, light elevating ladder, hose and stand pipes. In addition, it carries two chemical fireextinguishers.
