ONE of the finest looking small coaches in the Show is the 14 seater Talbot. This is most luxuriously appointed and, finished in dark red, quite as well as a. private car. A taper scuttle dash is provided, els* a facia

board complete with all the necessary in striunents. The upholstery is deep, and plenty of leg room is afforded to the passengers. The steering is well raked, thus making the drilling very comfortable, Electric lighting and starting equipment is fitted, the side lamps being carried on the front mudguards.

The chassis is the 25 h.p. Talbot which develops over • 55 b.h.p., and the petrol consumption of which, is said to be between 15 and 17 m.p.g. The cooling water is circulated by a centrifugal pump, the cooling being assisted by a fan. The radiator is of the honeycomb

type and is of handsome design. The gearbox provides four speeds forward and reverse, and the final drive is by bevel gearing. The wood wheels are fitted with Warland detachable rims, pneumatic tyres being fitted all round, twins at the rear, and two spare rims are provided. There are two deors besides that to the driver's seat, access to the last row of seats being obtained through a lift-up seat in the centre of the penultimate row. The hood can truly be classified as a one-man type. It, consists of a single span, the front being, clamped to the top of the windscreen.
