Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A BOURNEMOUTH coach tour firm is refunding up to £6 to several thousand customers despite the current fuel surcharges on air holidays.

Excelsior Holidays secretary David Jenkin told CM: "The greatly improved strength of the pound against certain foreign currencies has meant that we are able to pass on this good luck to some of our customers."

The tours run throughout Europe and use coaches which begin their journeys throughout Southern England, with Torquay, Portsmouth, London, and Swindon among the pick-up points.

Only Spain is excluded from the refunds, as revaluation of the peseta has evened out the rise in value of the pound.
