• An appeal by Rosetta Passenger Utilities Ltd against the decision of the East Midland Traffic Commissioners to revoke the public service vehicle licences of two of the company's vehicles has been dismissed by the inspector for the Department of the Environment. In a written report issued this week, the inspector states that the appellants appeared to be conscientious and hard working and concluded that they had attempted to maintain too many vehicles with insufficient skilled staff or other resources. The inspector considered that the judgment of the Commissioners had been reasonable and lenient.
