Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Albion Victor-type passenger chassis has, hitherto, been listed as suitable for bodies seating 20 to 26 passengers. It is now built as a 2426-seater and a 30-32-seater and incorporates a number of important modifications.

The dimensions of the engine are 31 ins. by 511 ins., the stroke having been increased by in., with a result that an extra 5 b.h.p. is developed. The water pump on the new model is on the near side, driven in tandem with the dynamo, whilst the magneto is placed transversely, the drive being by skew gear. In its new position the contact breaker and distributor could hardly be more accessible.

With regard to the braking arrangement, this now incorporates the Dewand.re triple-servo system, instead of the single servo cylinder previously employed. The distance between the rear springs has been increased, the front and rear mountings having been set out a little from the frame. Instead of two pairs of narrow shoes in the rear hubs, one pair of 44-in. shoes is used. The 30-32-seater has a. 16-ft. 4-in, wheelbase, whilst the smaller model has a 14-ft. 6-in. wheelbase.

A feature of the Victor chassis is that the gearbox is bolted to a rearward extension of the lower half of the crankcase, with the flywheel and clutch exposed, and the unit is so arranged that, both the gearbox and engine, oil fillers and dipsticks can easily be reached from the near side by lifting the bonnet.

These models have been designed with the object of filling a demand for a high-grade chassis which, whilst having adequate power and speed, will operate at running costs lower than those possible with vehicles designed primarily for highly competitive services; both have forward control. The chassis is offered at a competitive price.
