Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW DATABASE for van CO, emissions ratings and fuel consumption has been launched in conjunction with the Vehicle Certification Agency, the Society for Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) and the Department for Transport (Df ).

The database (found at www. husinesslink.gov.ukJvanfueldata) covers light CVs up to 3.5 tonnes and allows the user to search by GVW. The database includes fourwheel drives and pickups, but not multi-stage builds and chassis-cabs.

Transport secretary Lord Adonis says: "The database is good news for van buyers —it could well shape the van they choose."

The British Vehicle Renting and Leasing Association (BVRLA) chief executive, John Lewis, says: "The long-awaited information will be immensely valuable to fleet operators across the UK."
