The 1,000-Point Test was once again carried out in the Hunsrack region of southwest Germany, from the Rasthof Hochwald services. The hilly nature of the region makes it an excellent testing ground for the trucks — and the Mosel valley is very picturesque.
Last year, during the spring test, there was a building site stretching about 5km along the test route; this section had to be discounted from the results. This time around, there were no such problems.
