A road-gritting trailer which is suitable for towing behind most normal highway trucks and is designed to allow selective spreading of salt or sand to cover a range of up to 20ft will be shown. A bulk hopper unit permanently mounted on a four-wheel drive Bedford WD chassis will also be on view. With this unit, sand or salt can be spread over single or multi-lane highways over a range of 6 to 30ft with coverage as low as !oz per Sq. yd
