• The Road Haulage Association will not be able to publish benchmark rates for its members. Director-general Bryan Colley (right) has just met the Office of Fair Trading, and the discussions centred on what information it could publish. Set rate cards have been ruled out.
"If you get into a restrictive practice like that, you have to register it and then the Restrictive Practices Act comes into play," says the RHA.
