HERE was a comment in (CM, une 20) about the recall of the ,odge 50-Series which involved change of a bolt in the steering rm.
"In some cases, steering arms ecame detached, and steering ontrol was lost" you reported. This is not true since there is o record of bolt failure or that teering control had been lost. Excess play on the hand wheel would normally cause the driver to pull up long before the steering arm becomes detached through any failure of the second bolt holding it to the stub axle.
