On current traffic trends, the Tay Road Joint Board had decided not to increase the present tolls, announced Dr. J. Dickson Mabon, Minister of State at the Scottish Office, last week, when he successfully asked the Commons to increase from £6.5 million to £7.25m the capital expenditure which can go on the bridge and such items as cornpensation and interest.
