G.P.O. in Nottingham will be able to travel at normal single fare on late night " paddy" buses in the city if the East Midland Traffic Commissioners grant an application by Nottingham Corporation. At present, all uniformed workers can use them. at single fare, but telephonists are classed as ordinary late-night passengers, and have to pay double fare.
If the Commissioners agree, these workers will be issued with identification badges to bring them. into line with uniformed passengers. Transport department employees travel free.
