Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A STUDY of "accident proneness"

in bus drivers is being made by Dr. James A. Smiley, a specialist in industrial medicine and chief medical officer to Short Brothers and Harland, Ltd., Belfast. The research is financed by the Nuffield Provincial Hospitals Trust.

It is hoped that, if accident-prone drivers can be shown to exist, it may be possible to identify characteristics which will help to predict whether or not a man is suitable for employment as a driver.
