AN independent tribunal which has inquired into the strike of drivers and conductors employed by Trimdon Motor Services,. Co. Durham, has

.decided that the company were not justified in dismissing two employees for • alleged drinking before going on duty. The tribunal suggest that the men, both officials of the Transport and General Workers' Union, could have been temporarily suspended instead. When the two men were dismissed they alleged that they had :been victimized, and the Union called out the rest of the crews in -protest.
