Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Up to 80 jobs could be on the line at TDG European Chemical's north-western depots.

Twenty-two drivers are expected to be made redundant at the TDG depot in tongridge, Lanes following a decision by 'a major chemicals customer" to move its business from road to rail. However, TOG stresses that the move will create additional jobs at its Grangemouth depot and at the Crewe rail terminal.

A further 60 jobs, including drivers', are rumoured to be going at TDG's Taylor Road, Trafford Park depot after the company withdrew from three contracts which were not profitable.

However, a TDG spokesman disputes this figure: "Nobody has actually been made redundant at this stage and we are not talking about that sort of figure. Internal vacancies are being discussed with people at the Taylor Road site— there could also be opportunities for people to work with the new contractors,"
