NI Maple Commercial Vehicle Security has developed the Loadlocker heavy duty slamlock.
By ensuring that the door is locked every time it is slammed. the makers says that Loadlocker relieves the driver of responsibility for securing the vehicle.
Being a permanent fixture the device cannot get lost and its ease of operation means that rear doors will never be left unlocked after a delivery drop, says the manufacturer.
The system will fit any barn door with a vertical locking bar—a flush fitting version is available for applications where the upright locking system is integrated into the door. Loadlocker can also be adapted for use with electronic random micro-seals.
Components are coated for smooth operation in harsh environments; bodies are hard anodised and the key mechanism is protected by a self-closing cover plate.
