• Commercial vehicles have been banned from next year's Frankfurt Motor Show.
According to the exhibition's German organisers, "no commercial vehicles will be on display in September 1991." A "panel of experts" is now considering the viability of running a truck and van show in 1992, the location and dates of which "have not been decided."
The organisers of the British Motor Show, SMMT says it will watch the effects on the British show.
