A List of Dates of the More Important Events of the Year of Moment to Those Concerned with Mechanical Road Transport.
THE dates of the agricultural shows of the year are of interest to readers who may intend to visit the exhibitions or, to enter vehicles, tractors and appliances. It is also important to learn the dates of the shows as early as passible, because the entry lists invariably close some months beforehand. The chief shows of the year, with the place at which they will be held and the dates of opening and closing, are contained in the following table:—

Bath and West, at Bath, May 24th, to 28th.

The shows which usually attract entries from manufacturers of commercial motors are the Rom Show (at Newport, Mon., this year), the Royal Dublin, the Bath and West (at Bath this year), the Royal Ulster, the Three Counties, the Lancashire, the Highland and Agricultural, and the Royal Welsh. The Commercial Motor will deal with every show where there is an importa group of exhibits of interest to its readers.
