WHEN Mr Ponsford replied t my letter (CM July 14) he purported to defend bus desif over the last 30 years, whicl point I was challenging.
How did he defend it? He quoted chapter and verse on tl Routemaster, a 1955 design. I then quoted cars and aeroplanes but no modern bL His letter was either written tongue in cheek or it is anott example of muddled thinkin Perhaps he hadn't read wt. Mr Jenkins and Mr Fisher thi of the last 30 years of bus design either.
I rest my case.
