CONSULTING company Rymar Developments Ltd is to extend its interests into the trailer manufacture and repair business.
The new company, Rymar Trailer Equipment Ltd, based at Leeming Bar in North Yorkshire, is headed by Bob Yuill, who prior to setting up as a consultant to the industry had 14 years' experience with York Trailer Co.
General manager David Moor was formerly manager at York Truck Equipment Ltd's Darlington branch and had eight years' experience in product development at the York Group.
Initially repair work will form the basis of operation, with trailer production planned to begin by midSeptember. A complete service is offered, from design and manufacture to the repair and service of platform, schedule dropdecks and drawbars. In addition the firm will offer running gear fitting service to tanker manufacturers.
Using Rubery Owen axles and suspension, the emphasis will be on custom built vehicles.
