REVISED Construction a Use Regulations, includi extended powers for tow trailers, become effective August 30.
Transport Minister Willi, Rodgers has laid two sets regulations before Parham which consolidate the Mo Vehicles (Construction a Use) Regulations of 1973 the Goods Vehicles (Plat] and Testing) Regulations 1971.
The main C and U char allows a rigid lorry to toy semi-trailer and a dolly in f mation. Other alterations the removal of the 3.5-tor weight limit on farm trail and over-run brakes, a mil amendment to weight limit: certain trailers, and a mair nance requirement for s belts and their anchorages.
Some specialised trail have also been brought wit the testing regulations a consequence of the C anc changes.
