GRAMPIAN Region has now approved a positive long-te policy aimed at solution of the lorry parking problem Aberdeen. It is prepared to fund the development of a lo park in co-operation with others interested. Previously 1 Region had sought to establish lorry parking arrangements I was not prepared to contribute from public funds. The council has now decided that it will seek a suitable lo park in Aberdeen. It will also initiate legislation to prohibit lorry parking Aberdeen streets — whether or not a lorry park is establishe By these means the Region will now grapple with the lo term problem of establishing effective control of parking Aberdeen which has been troubled for some years by large-st oil industry traffic.
