PROPOSALS for a revised trunk route line on the A470 Taff Valley road have been announced by Secretary of State for Wales John Morris.
The new route on the western side of the valley follows most of the route decided after a 1974 public participation exercise, but bypasses built-up areas. It runs from Abercynon to Pentrebach and bypasses Aberfan. Proposals for an extension to Cefn Coed will be published later.
