A PLEASANT feature of the Paris Colonial Exhibition is the fleet of Rosengart (French Austin Seven) taxicabs plying for hire in the grounds. The Exposition Colonial is, by general consent, about the finest exhibition that France has yet held, which is saying a great deal, but the area covered is so enormous that visitors can inspect only a third or so of it in a day.

The little taxicabs, which are run by a subsidiary of the Rosengart Co., meet the case of those who want to make an
independent viSit. The vehicles are hired on time alone and provide a means for making an effortless visit to every corner of the exhibition. Painted in pale primrose with black wings, these little vehicles, with their white-helmeted drivers, have a most attractive appearance.
hot days, a white, tassel-fringed sun canopy lends the correct colonial touch to the outfit.
The Rosengart is manufactured at Neuilly, where a large factory was purchased in 1928 by K. Rosengart. The vehicle, which is altered in only minor 'chassis details and has Continental bodywork, is largely the same as the British Austin 7 h.p. car.
