The key to the 700's popularity is its £15,000 price advantage over competition and immediate availability, said director Liam O'Neill. "If you want one with a Thompson muckaway tipper, you'll have to wait until tomorrow," he said.
"We have better market share than Mercedes-Benz, MAN and Iveco, and we are just behind Renault."
Tipper operators and rental companies have been keen to order the 700 Series, and those trading in Hino trucks are realising good residual values, he added.
