• Commercial Motor Truckfest is moving into high gear, with entries flooding in for our contests, including 'Best-kept Working Truck', 'Best-kept Fleet', 'Best Custom Vehicle' and 'Best Vintage Vehicle'. There's not much time left, so send your entries now to the Truckfest office: further details can be obtained from the office on (0775) 68661.
Entries close on April 27 for the Continental Tyres Miss Truckfest competition, which is open to people working in the road transport industry and members of their immediate families. Entry forms for this can be obtained from Continental Tyres Miss Truckfest, 4-8 High Street, West Drayton, Middx UB7 7DJ.
An innovation for this year's Truckfest is the giant Commercial Motor barbecue and social evening on the Sunday night. Radio One DJ Simon Bates will be presenting an action-packed evening of entertainment, with bands, a disco, dancing girls and the finals of the Miss Truckfest event.
