Obituaries

We record with regret the deaths of Edward George Broome, A. F. E. ("Tony") Hale, and Alfred Thomas Moseley.

Mr Broome was manager of Shell-Mex & BP's Northfleet terminal, and for five years organising secretary of Kent LDoY centre.

Mr Hole spent some time with Anthony Hoist, Autolift and Telehoist; at the time of his death he was sales director of Birchwood Commercial and Tipper Co Ltd.

Mr Moseley, 66, retired in 1958 as director and general manager of W. S. Yeates Ltd. He then joined forces with his eldest son, Alfred, and formed the nucleus of what is now known as the Moseley Group of Companies. His other son, Vincent, later joined them,
