Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The inaugural ODA freight industry stakeholder group event took place in June.

Attendees at the meeting included representatives from Royal Mail, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, OHL, UPS, TNT, 3663, GEFCO UK, Gist and Cert Octavian.

Sumner says haulers concerned the Olympic Route Network will damage their businesses need to make their case through industry bodies such as the Road Haulage Association or Freight Transport Association.

He adds: "The freight industry stakeholder group includes brewery, express delivery and retail sub-groups.

'The process will be led by us and we will eventually consolidate these groups into one. I'm sure issues will come up on a caseto-case basis, but we'll work through them."

The FTA recently expressed the view that the London boroughs should agree a formula to relax night-time delivery restrictions all in one go.

These include the London Lorry Control Scheme, individual curfews, as well as restrictions that are imposed by individual boroughs and stores.

Sumner says: 'There may be cases where we need to look at extra night time movements to replenish venues because there may be a late finish somewhere It will all depend on the timings of events, sometimes afternoon deliveries will be appropriate in certain areas."
