new company has named the first 51 of its proposed network of 57 dealers and distributors, leavijng several existing dealers out in the cold.
Leyland main dealers not on the list issued so far are: Lex Tillotson in Southampton, B C Trucks in Croydon, Thai-neside in Dartford, Charles Hurst in Belfast, Ford and Slater in Nottingham, Hargreaves in Pudsey, Longton in Stoke-on-Trent, Lex Tillotson and PJ Evans in Birmingham, H Woodward in Salford, Manchester, Brookside in Northampton, and Hargreaves in Teeside.
The following Daf dealers are also missing from the list so far: Norscot in Aberdeen, Solway in Carlisle, Thompson in Beverley, Midland in Birmingham, Peter Brown in Northampton, Ben Cooper in Ipswich, Vales in Watford, Morey in Avon, Morey in Ringwood, and Wessex in Newton Abbot.
All 51 official Leyland Daf dealers named so far will appear in Commercial Motor's Operators Handbook next week.
