Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A wide range of companies find their transport needs best served by purchasing ex-military vehicles and because many of these machines are complex in their design and construction, they sometimes discover that the repairing and servicing of gearboxes, transfer cases, axles and other major units, are problems.

A company that has specialized in the export of military vehicles and the supply of spares for them came to the conclusion that the only way the problem could be overcome would be to produce the necessary literature itself. It obtained access to the original military publications relating to the vehicles and is now producing manuals for most ex-WD vehicles.

Books are available for a wide range of vehicles including the Austin Champ, Land-Rover, the Alvis Stalwart, Austin K9, Cornmer 04, the Ford 3-ton E models, all the Humber 1tonner range. the International Half Track, the Ford and Willys Jeeps and many more. Also available are complete spare parts lists and user handbooks for many models.

Those interested in obtaining manuals for these classes of vehicle should contact Mr. N. J.

Darley, managing director, Europa Landwagen Ltd., 99 Kidbrooke Grove, London, SE3.
