Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

YOUR ARTICLE headed "Make trucks pay £11.40 in London" (CM 3 November) is proof that a university education is no substitute for intelligence.

I keep coming across people who make all sorts of things happen—in theory or on their computers—which have no relation to what goes on in the real world.

I'm sure most CM readers know the only way to stop trucks entering London would be to first stop people living and working there, stop all entertainment, close all pubs and restaurants; in fact, empty the place.

If there was any solidarity in the UK haulage industry we could give these plonkcrs a practical demonstration of what London would be like without any trucks by boycotting the place fora week, Peter Martin Devon
