Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DEVELOPED by the Austrian subsidiary of MAN for the Post Office, prototypes of battery electric two-tonners are now being evaluated. Siemens traction equipment and Varta batteries (the 90-cell pack weighs 1900kg) are fitted to vans based on the Saviem SG range. The vehicles are equipped with thyristor control incorporating a three-stage pushbutton control and have a novel topping-up system for the batteries. Production models will be based on the MAN-VW 690 chassis announced recently.
