A DEVICE which ca automatically detect the pr( sence of water in dery an lubricating oil has been dew loped by Aceyork Ltd, member of the Mowlem En gineering Products Group.
Known as 'Aqua-Tru', th system uses the different cor ductivity levels of oil an water to trigger a visual o audible alarm. The compan claims that Aqua-Tru can de tect the presence of water ii quantities as low as 2 or 3cc.
The system has its owi power supply and is therefor independent of outside powe sources. It can also be linkei to an automatic pumpinl circuit to remove the wate contamination.
