IT HAS been proposed tha bus fares should be increas in ,Dundee. A special meetin of Tayside Region Transpor Committee decided in les than five minutes on Wednes day that they should be raise as soon as possible.
Lower fares are planned t go up by lp and higher adul fares by 2p. It is expected th proposed increases will pro duce an additional £491,000 year after allowing for "a real istic resistance factor."
It was also decided tha there is to be another review o fares next May once wag awards have been agreed, an the level of income from th present proposals have bee monitored.
