TWO NEW power wreckers, for the recovery of cars and light vans, from Ernest Holmes of America are being distributed by Crane Fruehauf.
Both are of similar design, but the Trooper has a single 5-ton-rated hydraulically powered winch while the Commander has a 7-ton-rated twin winch with a large diameter narrow width drum said to reduce the cable lead angle to improve cable winding.
The hydraulic booms of the models extend I.37m (54ins) and raise by 60deg.
