THE CHINA Motor Bus Company, Hong Kong has taken delivery of six Ailsa Mark 2 double-decker buses.
One of the batch is fitted with the optional Voith D851 transmission with a built-in retarder. All of the buses are bodied by Alexander of Falkirk.
The Ailsa joins two earlier Ailsas which have been in service in Hong Kong for two and three years. One of the buses has reputedly carried a record number of 1.3m passengers in two years.
