MPROVEMF.NTS to the North Devon link road were called for ast week when Freight Transport Association Devon and :ornwall divisional chairman Richard Sanderson addressed a fleeting in Yelverton.
He said that the use of road freight for 90 per cent of British ndustry made it vital that industry and commerce should "stand tp and be counted" when expressing its views to local, central, aid European government bodies.
He said that the North Devon link road from the M5 to 3arnstaple and the Okehampton bypass were listed by the illovernment as top pirority.
"It is essential that there should be no lowering or removal of his priority from any future Government listing."
