Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A SPECIALIST panel with the title: "Freight Transportation (Co-ordination)" has been set up by the British Standards Institution under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Transport. The panel comprises membership from three existing BSI technical committees—freight containers, pallets and package dimensions.

Following agreements on external dimensions of containers at the Moscow con

ference of the International Standards Organization this year, it is recognized that minimum internal dimensions require to be studied in pursuit of agreement on unit load and package modules. This would include determination of the most appropriate pallet sizes for container loading.

It is hoped that firm proposals will be put forward to an ISO technical committee due to meet in London in February, 1968.
