Mr. B. Elgey of Farmway Ltd., agricultural and corn merchants, believes this because his first Seddons are still on the road after being continuously on the go, delivering daily, for the past eight years. Together with later additions, Farmway now operate 40 Seddons—over half of their total fleet. Mr. B. Elgey, Transport Controller, told us that more would be added to the fleet in the future. There were two good reasons for this. "I take reliability in my Seddons for granted", he said, "but what is just as important is that within the Seddon Atkinson organisation we can immediately get to the people that matter if we need advice".
