Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

APPLICATIONS for seven transport study awards worth a total of £3,250 have been invited by the Chartered Institute of Transport.

The awards are all designed to allow the winner to further his education in transport both in Britain and in Europe — and many are open only to members or fellows of the CIT.

Henry Spurrier Awards of £750 and CMUA Road Transport Research Fellowships also at £750 are available, as are the £250 Sir William Chamberlain Awards.

PSV awards

National Bus Company Transport Research Fellowships worth £500 are available to students of public service vehicle operation and the Road Haulage Association travelling scholarship of £300 is also open to applicants.

The Worshipful Company of Carmen travel and research award and the Robert Bell travelling scholarship for railway employees are also available. Closing date for applications for all awards is May 31.
