Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

APART from the inevitable minor initial troubles that are alwayg associated with the introduction of a new type of vehicle in any fleet, until the fitters have become accustomed to their particular idiosyncrasies, the two Crossley 48-seater vehicles run by Buntc.ky Corporation have, in the opinion of the general manager, Mr. C. H. Stafford, A.M.Inst.T., behaved in a most satisfactory way.

The vehicles were put into operation on April 4, 1932, and have covered well over 73,000 miles. They are satisfactorily maintaining a service, in conjunction with petrobengined buses, on a route which is particularly hilly and of a gruelling nature by reason of the frequency of the stops, which number 54 in 4.8 miles.

The mileage per gallon of fuel has averaged 8.75, and the fuel cost per mile .44d., as against 2.56d. with petrolengined vehicles ; the respective prices of the fuels are 80. per gallon for fuel oil and is. 2d. for petrol.
