THE BUSINESS POST GROUP has seen its revenues rise 16% in the three months to 30 June — and predicts further growth.

In a statement to the City, chairman Peter Kane notes that parcel turnover showed suitable improvement on last year.

The results follow the achievement of the financial year ending 31 March, in which UK Pallets' revenues increased 4% to £30,4m from the #29.1m in 2007.

The company anticipates European growth thanks to a deal with logistics services provider Dachser, creating a new European service. While growth in B2B parcels was referred to (representing more than 80% of parcel sales), the recent contract with Orange was linked with the improvement in the courier business.

The company comments: "We have a made a good start with continued growth and with trading performance in line with management expectations."
