Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Drivers at Kwik Save and Northern Foods Transport have rejected pay offers.

Brian Revell, TGWU national secretary for food, drink and tobacco. is to meet Kwik Save after 1,800 workers rejected a 2% pay offer that would have been funded by the loss of meals allowances worth £13 a week.

Kwik Save's 277 drivers expect to be balloted on industrial action if the company fails to come up with a new offer; Kwik Save says it is still in talks with the union.

The 300 drivers on NFT's Sainsbury contract could be balloted early next month follow

ing their rejection of a 3% pay offer. The union expects a fresh offer from the company at a meeting scheduled for 29 July.

NFT management was unavailable for comment.

At St Albans-based security company Securitas UK, drivers have rejected industrial action over new terms and conditions.

And TGWU members in Scotland at parcels carrier Lynx have voted to accept a revised offer of a 3.25"b rise and an extra day's holiday for longserving employees.

But the RMT union has recommended that its members should reject the offer.
