Taskers Trailer for Moscow : A Taskers 7-ton, four-wheeled drawbar tank chassis will be exhibited by the Phoenix Engineering Co, Ltd., of Chard, in the Moscow Construction and Road Machine Exhibition scheduled to open on August 24. Some 130 firms front 18 countries are to take part in the exhibition.
Scammell Works Holiday : The works of Scammell Lorries Ltd. will be closed for the annual holiday from Saturday, August 8, to Sunday. August 21 inclusive. Sales and service facilities will continue to be available. Commercial Vehicle Sales: Central Motor Auctions are holding a regular monthly sale of heavier commercial vehicles on the fourth Thursday of each month. The first will be held at Rothwell, Leeds, on July 23 at 11 a.m. A similar sale will be held at the Yarm-on-Tees premises on the second Friday of each month.
