• Hammond Transport Group wants to acquire or link up with another transport company, preferably with bases in Lancashire and Yorkshire.
Hammond, which specialises in general haulage and contract distribution, has depots in Leeds, Birmingham, Luton and Redhill with a workforce of 140 and more than 100 vehicles. It wants to hear from companies of a similar size.
The move is part of Hammond's plans to expand in the Nort-West. It recently landed a parts distribution contract with Toyota GB,
