J. G. Methven was appointed an executive director of the Scottish Bus Group at the first meeting of the Scottish Transport Group in Glasgow on December 31. Mr. Methven, at present staff officer of the Scottish Bus Group, was previously divisional staff and welfare officer, B RS Scotland. Also appointed executive directors were R. MacKenzie and N. R. Sutherland. Mr. MacKenzie, general manager of Scottish Omnibuses Ltd., was in 1952 appointed general manager of Halifax Passenger Transport and is a past' president of the Scottish Road Passenger Transport Association, Mr. Sutherland is at present general manager of Highland Omnibuses Ltd.
