Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WITH a capacity of 20 cu. yd., a new prototype dumper built by AvelingBarford, Ltd., Grantham, and now undergoing trials, is claimed to be the biggest outfit of its kind yet announted in this country. Ease of maintenance has been studied in the design, and various component assemblies may be removed without excessive disturbance of other parts.

The power unit of the first models is a Rolls-Royce eight-cylindered engine supercharged to give 333 b.h.p., but British-built Cummins units are to be offered as alternatives. Conventional transmission provides six forward speeds with one reverse ratio: automatic torqueconverter transmission* is to be made available.

The twin-plate clutch and the wheel brakes are air-operated. Actuation of the brake pedal also causes an exhaust brake to operate.

NEW FUEL-TAX CAMPAIGN

AN intensive publicity campaign, aimed at focusing public attention on bus fuel taxation, started this week. Six twocolour window bills have been produced by the organizers — the Municipal Passenger Transport Association, Public Transport Association and Passenger Vehicle Operators' Association.

In conjunction with the Scottish Road Passenger Transport Association, the three groups have also produced a pamphlet which is to be widely distributed among passengers. Entitled "The Tax on Your Bus Service," it shows how the tax is reflected in fares and its effect on rural services.
