Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ANEW air/road freight service is bringing Channel Islands flowers into certain East Midland shops much quicker than has been customary hitherto. On December 1 a plan evolved by Growers Produce Ltd., of Nottingham, was put into action, whereby flowers picked in Jersey and Guernsey in the morning were packed the same afternoon, flown to Nottingham Airport by British Midland Airways Ltd. in the evening and were on sale in the local market next morning.

The Nottingham area is said to have been one of the worst served for Channel Islands flowers because of sea/rail/road transport and handling. The inaugural service carried 600 boxes of flowers, but this is expected to grow to 1,000 boxes three times a week in the near future, At Nottingham Airport the flowers are picked up by the Ford D300 truck seen in the picture below. Supplied and adapted by Carter Gate Motor Co., it has spark arresters and an aircraft warning light.
