Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

It's not usual to get an award for collecting rubbish, but then it's not usual to recover 750,000 tonnes of cardboard, enough to fill 32,609 lorries! (Glad I didn't have to work that one out). This honour was bestowed on Safeway in recognition of its dedication to recovering waste packaging.

Derek Tilt, general manager of BPS Recycling, presented the award to David -Rawson, Safeway's operations development controller, at the supermarket giants distribution centre in Beishill, Scotland.

"We are always happy to recognise companies which take the lead in industry best practice for recycling," says Tilt. Good for them! The Hawk likes to think he too takes the lead in ecological best practices at his workplace, which makes sense as most of his stories are recycled!
