• Isleworth, Middlesexbased London Buslines has acquired 11 Alexanderbodied 75-seat Olympians to operate London Regional Transport's route 90B. The route was previously run by London Bus subsidiary London United Busways.
These are the first new double-deckers in London Buslines' 38-strong fleet which includes some Lynx single-deckers. Following problems with the reliability of some older vehicles, LRT now specifies new vehicles for all tendered services, with features such as bus stopping signs and conspicuous handrails.
Touring Harrier
• Kirkby has supplied a 37-seat Reeve Burgess Harrier Leyland Swift midicoach to Castleways, Winchcombe. It features a courier seat and destination display to suit it to tours and local bus services in the Cotswolds.
